TAIPEI, Taiwan (AP) — Nvidia on Monday unveiled new powerful chips that would bring advanced artificial intelligence functions into laptops and desktop computers, with the new personal computer models from brands including Microsoft and Dell set to roll out later this year.

The first devices featuring the new technology, including models from Microsoft and Dell, are expected to be launched later this year.

PC makers are hoping such powerful AI features will help draw in buyers as more people lean on generative AI for everything from sending emails to planning vacations.
