City officials say one person is confirmed dead and two others are still missing, presumed dead, after a building collapse in Grays Ferry.

A stairwell roof at a parking garage being built in Philadelphia collapsed suddenly, killing one person and leaving two missing, authorities said.

Brian Scott, who works at Chef's Table Catering Company near the collapse site, said, "Business-wise, we had to basically shut down our operation today."
