This week, CDCR staff and incarcerated individuals have been honoring military veterans. Through runs, community events, solemn ceremonies and parades, we have gathered in different ways to honor and celebrate military veterans. As incarcerated firefighters and CDCR fire staff continue the wildfire fight in Southern California, fellow incarcerated firefighters in training at Cuesta Conservation Camp in San Luis Obispo are expressing their support to their peers who are out on the front lines.
