Each year, the Fort Worth Zoo welcomes lesser flamingo chicks to the flock — and this year is no different! We have welcomed 4 chicks so far, and expect more to come. Lesser flamingo chicks are cared for around-the-clock by our dedicated keepers behind the scenes. The chicks are fed every 2 hours and all bird staff pitch in to help care for the little chicks during late night feeds.
